Free Fish and Fishing Word Search Puzzles (Printable PDFs + Answer Keys)

One page, two kinds of fish puzzle. The first free word search names fish species from rivers, lakes and the sea. Freshwater fish include the TROUT, BASS, CATFISH, PIKE, CARP, PERCH and WALLEYE, and the SALMON spends time in both. From salt water come TUNA, COD, HALIBUT, SWORDFISH, MARLIN, GROUPER and MACKEREL.

The second sheet is for anglers. It packs the TACKLE BOX with a ROD and REEL, LINE, HOOK, SINKER and BOBBER, BAIT and WORMS or a shiny LURE, then puts on the WADERS to CAST, try FLY FISHING, land a fish in the NET and practise CATCH AND RELEASE. The word list runs easy-to-medium and suits children from about 7 up, so it is a good one for a family fishing trip or a rainy day at the cabin. Answer keys are on page two.
