PDF + answer keyMusicFree PDFs + answer keys
Two free music theory word searches for the band room or the music class, each a printable PDF with the answer key on page two. The first covers reading music: the STAFF, the TREBLE CLEF and BASS CLEF, the WHOLE NOTE, HALF NOTE and QUARTER NOTE, the REST, the SHARP, the FLAT and the NATURAL, plus the KEY SIGNATURE, the TIME SIGNATURE, the SCALE, the OCTAVE and the CHORD.
The second is the vocabulary written above the notes. TEMPO markings run from slow ADAGIO through ANDANTE and ALLEGRO to PRESTO; DYNAMICS go from PIANO to FORTE, with a CRESCENDO or a DIMINUENDO in between; notes are played STACCATO or LEGATO. RHYTHM, TIMBRE and TEXTURE, three of the elements of music, finish it off. Both run medium and suit students from about 10 up. More in the music word searches.
