About these Thanksgiving sheets

Which sheet to print

Thanksgiving Dinner is the easy sheet: GRAVY, ROLLS, PECAN and the rest of the meal, with the first letter of each answer on the line and a word bank at the bottom.

Thanksgiving Harvest moves to the season and the history (PILGRIM, MAYFLOWER, CORNUCOPIA). No first letters, but the word bank stays.

Thanksgiving Day has no hints. The words run up to 12 letters, including THANKSGIVING itself and GRANDPARENTS, so it suits older kids and adults.

Before the meal or after it

Leave a few copies of the dinner sheet and some pencils at the kids' table; it keeps them busy while the turkey is carved. The hard sheet is a good one to pass around the adults while the dishes soak.

In class, the harvest sheet fits the last day before the break. Print page 1 for the students and keep page 2, the answer key, for checking.
