Free Algebra Word Search Puzzles (Printable PDFs + Answer Keys)

Four free algebra word searches, one for each year from 6th to 9th grade, each a printable PDF with the answer key on page two. They step up with the curriculum: 6th grade starts with VARIABLE, EXPRESSION and EQUATION, 7th grade pre-algebra adds slope, inequality and coefficient, and 8th grade brings in linear, polynomial and quadratic.

The 9th grade sheet is the hardest, with parabola, vertex, domain, range and the discriminant. Each grid has ten words, so it fits the last ten minutes of a lesson or a vocabulary review before a unit test. The set runs from about grade 6 up. More number puzzles are in the math word searches.
